Our Mission

We're the Humane Society of Calvert County, driven by a singular goal: the welfare of every dog that comes to us. We pull dogs that are sick, provide them with quality care, and help them find loving homes where they can thrive.

Our services extend across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, reaching out to dogs in need and ensuring they get the chance at a better life they deserve.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month

Adopt a Dog

Looking to open your home to a new furry friend? Check out our “Available Dogs” page to meet all the wonderful dogs waiting for their forever homes. Remember, when you adopt from us, you're not just getting a pet - you're saving a life.
