Our Mission

We're the Humane Society of Calvert County, driven by a singular goal: the welfare of every dog that comes to us. We pull dogs that are sick, provide them with quality care, and help them find loving homes where they can thrive.

Our services extend across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, reaching out to dogs in need and ensuring they get the chance at a better life they deserve.

Muffin

Muffin is a mixed breed senior male pup. He is a very sweet boy who loves to chase the ball in our play yard. Very friendly.

Cigarillo

Cigarillo is a small, senior terrier. Small in size. He is a young 10 year old that is spunky and funny! A sweet, funny and lovable boy!

MaeMae

Mae Mae is a young female Chih/Min Pin bicolor mix. She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She is an adorable girl and would make an awesome companion.
