Hi, I'm Taylor. I'm an Australian Cattle dog with of pinch of something else. I'm very intelligent and like to be active and busy most, if not all, of the time. I love taking long walks or many short ones, love basking in a pool of water on a hot summer day and I enjoy the company of dogs big and small. Australian Cattle Dog's are bred to herd cattle and since I don't have any I may find other things such as cats, toys, kids, lawn mowers, vacuums, etc., to herd. When I find my special person, you will be the center of my universe and I will attach myself to you like velcro. I'll follow you everywhere you go and want to be a part of everything you do. I can be protective of my house and family and may be suspicious of someone new, but we can work on that with some training. I have a herd of volunteers who simply adore me (one brings me bacon and eggs on Sundays) and they want nothing more than for me to get a break and find my person. My favorite volunteer (don't tell that to the bacon and eggs lady!) will be happy to take me to a place outside of the kennel environment to meet you for a proper introduction. It will take a very special person with patience and understanding of my breed, but rest assured, when we both feel the love I will be your loyal and loving companion. It may take a couple of meetings, but from the bottom of my big heart, I'm well worth the effort. I look forward to meeting you.
